This is a blog about love and marriage.
Which means this is a journal about what happens when two people vow to spend their lives together and mean it.
There are messy times and beautiful ones. Periods of fear and moments of rapture. There are colonoscopies and job changes. Therapy and grief. Vacations and new wall paint.
There is no perfection here, only some ideas and offerings from the heart about longstanding love.
We are a middle-aged couple who have been married for more than 20 years. I am a writer and a lifelong observer of love and relationships. My husband is a software developer. And together with our cat, we're a family.
The title of this site comes from the English iteration of the 1953 song, ¿Quién será?, by Luis Demetrio and Pablo Beltrán Ruiz with English lyrics by Norman Gimbel. Famous versions have been performed by Dean Martin and Michael Buble. It makes my knees weak.
When we dance you have a way with me
Stay with me, sway with me
Back and forth. SIde to side, holding each other, in step and not, eyes bashful even after decades of weddings, funerals and dirty dishes, just two people moving and swaying, bending but not breaking.
